ABOUT US
Our Mission
We are a Sonoma County based coalition group of both veterans and non-veterans united together in one mission: To perpetuate the memory of the men and women of Sonoma County who gave their lives to their country. To recognize the sacrifices and honor the services of all Armed Forces veterans of the United States of America. To advocate and work on the behalf of the Sonoma County Veteran community through education, heighten community awareness, appreciation, collaboration, and resourcing. To provide a forum in which to present, discuss, debate and propose procedural and/or legislative solutions to inequities and issues affecting the veteran community and its active duty counterparts within Sonoma County performed in a nonpartisan manner.

GOALS
- To preserve the history and legacy of the Sonoma County Veterans Memorial Buildings.
- To provide a flow of relevant veteran information to be distributed to the community.
- To become a unified voice in advocating for the veterans of our community.
- To serve as an educational resource for community members and leaders on veteran issues.
- To represent the veteran voices in Sonoma County.
- To meet the unique needs of veterans living in Sonoma County.
- To create a safe environment for people to share their honest opinions to identify problems and to formulate solutions.
- To improve diversity, equity, and inclusivity.
- To improve the functionality and usability of and access to the Sonoma County Veterans Memorial Buildings.
- To advise the Board of Supervisors on the condition of the Veterans Memorial Buildings.
