SUPERVISOR COURSEY TELLS VETERANS THE HOMELESS SHELTER IS ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE

During the Monday evening community meeting on February 27, 2023, via Zoom and social media, Sonoma County Supervisor Chris Coursey, referring to one of the newly managed emergency homeless shelters proposed for the Veterans Memorial Building property, said,

“I understand that veterans see this as an imposition. I hope that there isn’t a universal feeling of disrespect. Veterans, by definition, are willing to serve, and this is another opportunity for all of us to serve our fellow residents in Sonoma County.”
